A 2-button, notch-lapel, sharkskin suit; a white french-cuff and tabbed collar shirt; a white/ash patterned tie worn with a four-in-hand knot; a white linen pocket square; and a pair of plain black cap-toed oxford shoes constitute my ensemble today. As you can see in the photo below, I am wearing a black belt with a silver-colored buckle today. I am sure you will agree that any golden accessories would look very odd with this ensemble.

Today’s watch is a rare and vintage 1957 Longines, manual winding, and stainless steel casing with a black leather strap.
