What I am wearing today (4 October 2012)

Thursday is back and as other Thursdays I am wearing a combination today. The keystone of today’s ensemble is a double-breasted (4X2) cotton sports jacket paired with ecru colored trousers. Today’s shirt is a  white/light gray/light green linen gingham with French cuffs and the colors of the check silk knit tie are maroon, black, and white. Today’s pocket square is a printed silk one with maroon, blue, and gray colors. I thought a pair of brown colored monk shoes would be appropriate for today.

Though the watch is a very simple manual winding vintage Tressa with a large white dial, still for some unknown reasons, I find today’s watch to be aesthetically very pleasing. It may be because of its simplicity.
