Today I am wearing a charcoal, 2-button, notch-lapel suit; a white cotton shirt with French cuffs; a maroon silk tie; a printed silk pocket square; a pair of black cap-toed oxford shoes; and a 1980 vintage gold plated Tissot automatic watch.
Today I am wearing a dark brown pinstripe, 2-button, peak-lapel suit; a yellow cotton shirt with French cuffs and tabbed collars; a dark brown silk tie with micro yellow dots; a yellow silk pocket square with blue trimmings; a pair of dark brown cap-toed oxford shoes; and a vintage Favre Leuba Duomatic (automatic) watch with day and date.
Thursday is back and as other Thursdays I am wearing a combination today. The keystone of today’s ensemble is a double-breasted (4X2) cotton sports jacket paired with ecru colored trousers. Today’s shirt is a white/light gray/light green linen gingham with French cuffs and the colors of the check silk knit tie are maroon, black, and white. Today’s pocket square is a printed silk one with maroon, blue, and gray colors. I thought a pair of brown colored monk shoes would be appropriate for today.
Though the watch is a very simple manual winding vintage Tressa with a large white dial, still for some unknown reasons, I find today’s watch to be aesthetically very pleasing. It may be because of its simplicity.
Today I am wearing a beige, 2-button, peak-lapel suit; a handloom cotton blue/white gingham shirt with French cuffs; a black/green thick stripe silk tie; a macclesfield printed silk pocket square in blue, red, and yellow; a pair of brown brogue derby shoes; and a vintage gold-plated Sandoz, manual winding, date watch with a unique split second in the shape of “S”, which rotates. The watch also has a very beautiful cabochon crown.
Today’s ensemble consists of an ash gray, 2-button, notch-lapel suit; a lemon tabbed-collar shirt with French cuffs; a black and white vertical striped silk tie; a white linen pocket square; a pair of black half brogue wingtip shoes; and a vintage stainless steel, manual winding, Sandoz “CRYSTAL” watch with date function.
Today I am wearing a glen plaid, 2-button, notch-lapel suit paired with a light blue shirt with French cuffs; a tartan wool tie in blue, green, and red; a maroon-red silk pocket square; a pair of light brown cap-toed oxford shoes; and a vintage stainless steel Mondia Automatic 25 with date function.
