What I am wearing today (25 May 2014)

Today I am wearing a gray woolen glen-plaid 2-button notch-lapel (fish-mouth lapel) suit with a ticket pocket, a white cotton shirt with French cuffs, a red silk tie with white polka dots, a white linen pocket square, and a pair of black cap-toed oxford shoes.

The suit I am wearing is full-canvas with handmade button holes. The suit buttons are corozo.

  1. Dear Sir,

I hope you are doing great.

This Prince of Wales chequered suit material is splendid and also the fitting is seamless. If you do not mind asking me from where do you buy your suit materials and who does your tailoring? since I do not live in Bangladesh, I have very little to no knowledge about tailoring in Bangladesh. It will be great to know more about this from a suit connoisseur like yourself. Thank you.

    1. Thank you for your comment and compliments. The suit is made by Dapper Bespoke, located at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka, Bangladesh. These suits are handmade, i.e., fully canvassed as well as all buttonholes are also handmade.

Dapper is a new sartorial establishment. The PoW check is also sourced from the same shop. Unfortunately, Dapper is the only facility in Bangladesh for full-canvas suits.

      Thanks,

      Shahzaman
