What I am wearing today (26 June 2014)

Today I am wearing a sports jacket/trousers combination: A handmade woolen full-canvas brown-check sports jacket with patch pockets and leather buttons, a pair of light blue gabardine trousers, a dark brown silk tie with small black patterns, a greenish-blue silk pocket square, and a pair of brown Chelsea boots are what constitutes my ensemble today.

Some additional notes about the jacket are necessary. Like all my recent jackets, this also has pure silk lining. In my experience Silk undoubtedly provides the most comfortable wear experience when compared with rayon acetate or Bemberg . Silk is also much lighter. You will also notice the jacket shoulders are slightly padded giving a natural shoulder and I am sure you have also noticed the pleat-like dimples at the base of the sleeves. All the button holes are, of course, hand sewn with pure silk threads. I will not get into additional technical details of this jacket’s construction.

  1. Really nice coverage of the details. Too bad, that the image quality doesnt reflect the real quality of your suits.
The blue trousers really give a nice casual flavour to the overall business look.

    1. Thank you for your comment. You are correct, the picture quality can be much better. Unfortunately, those who take the photos are not professionals. I have only a few minutes for the snaps.
