What I am wearing today (11 December 2014)

Today I am wearing a tweed 2-button notch-lapel sports jacket with brown leather buttons, a pair of woolen trousers,  a light pink cotton shirt with French cuffs and a silver collar pin, a blue on blue striped silk tie, a pale-pink waistcoat, and a pair of brown chukka boots. I am also wearing the same pocket watch I wore yesterday.

  1. Sir,
I am an avid follower of your blog from the U.S. I wanted to thank you for demonstrating the proper manner a gentleman should dress. There are far to many people who are unaware of “proper dress” and simply follow the mindless trends of the times. It is reassuring to see someone, like yourself, that embraces the correct manner of dress.

Like yourself, I also am a collector of mechanical watches, so I really appreciate your inclusion of your watch selection of the day. Ones watch and footwear choice is equally as important as the clothing itself. to make the proper image.

In closing, hats off to you sir for your efforts!

    1. Dear Captain Carson:

Thank you very much for your compliments. I am also delighted to know that you are also a collector of mechanical watches. As you may have noticed, I had stopped posting the wrist watch (I almost stopped wearing a wrist watch because it’s really a hassle to select a watch from the collection and wear it.) However, due to your comment I would try to wear a watch every day and post its photograph.

      Thanks again,

      Shahzaman Mozumder
