What I am wearing today (12 January 2015)

Today I am wearing a black/gray woolen hound’s-tooth three-piece suit, a cream colored cotton shirt with spread collar and French cuffs, a white/brick-red striped silk tie, a reddish-brown silk pocket square, a pair of  black cap-toed oxford shoes, and a vintage Omega manual winding pocket watch with split second in a double Albert silver chain.

  1. I like your style so much. Your matching sense are too good.

I have question. My height is 5.9 ft, what type of suit will be fit for me 2 buttons or 3 buttons suite ?
Will it be uncompatible, if i wear 3 buttons suit ?

    Regards

    1. Thank you for your compliments. For a Bangladeshi, 5.9 ft is a good height and you may wear both 3-buttons and 2-button suits. However, for a 3-button suit I would recommend 3 button rolled to 2 configuration. This means that the first button will be inside the lapel roll and even though the suit is 3-button, it will look like a two button suit and you will button only the middle button. Three buttons suits are classic and very much in fashion. But for shorter people 2-button is better.

Observe my suit today: It’s a three button suit but rolled to 2-button. You can hardly see the first button.

      Thanks, Shahzaman.
