Today I am wearing a woolen green check sports jacket, a pair of beige woolen trousers, a light blue cotton shirt with French cuffs and collar pins, a pink silk pocket square with thin blue and gray stripes, a blue silk pocket square with pink borders, a pair of brown monk-strap shoes, and the same Longines watch I were yesterday.
Today I am wearing a woolen gray windowpane 2-button notch-lapel suit, a pink candy stripe cotton shirt with French cuffs, a blue/white patterned silk tie, a pink silk pocket square with blue borders, a lapel chain with a pink river pearl, and a pair of brown monk-strap shoes. I am not wearing a watch today.
Today I am wearing a blue 2-button notch-lapel suit, a cotton teal/white bold striped shirt with French cuffs and tabbed collar, a blue silk tie with patterns, a silk pocket square in navy and brown, a pair of brown monk shoes, and a vintage (1945-50) and rare Favre Leuba “Sandow” manual winding watch.
Thursday is back and as other Thursdays I am wearing a combination today. The keystone of today’s ensemble is a double-breasted (4X2) cotton sports jacket paired with ecru colored trousers. Today’s shirt is a white/light gray/light green linen gingham with French cuffs and the colors of the check silk knit tie are maroon, black, and white. Today’s pocket square is a printed silk one with maroon, blue, and gray colors. I thought a pair of brown colored monk shoes would be appropriate for today.
Though the watch is a very simple manual winding vintage Tressa with a large white dial, still for some unknown reasons, I find today’s watch to be aesthetically very pleasing. It may be because of its simplicity.
