Today I am wearing a black/gray woolen hound’s-tooth single breasted full-canvas hand-made 100% silk lined suit with a ticket pocket, a micro-tattersall check cotton shirt with contrast collar and cuff, a light gray silk tie with large pink checks, a pink-check linen pocket square, and a pair of black plain-toe oxford shoes.
If you notice carefully, you will find that today I am wearing four patterns: The suit is hound’s-tooth, the shirt is tattersall, the tie is another check, and finally the pocket square which is also a micro check. Wearing four patterns is a difficult undertaking and are often discouraged by the “experts”. You be the judge of today’s combination and don’t forget to leave a comment.
Another new feature is the jacket’s sleeve which has been attached in such a way so that a hump is created at the junction. This technique is known as “con rollino” shoulder.
