Today I am wearing a woolen 2-button notch-lapel suit with a ticket pocket, a light_Blue/White striped shirt with white spread collar and cuffs, a solid red silk tie, a white linen pocket square, a pair of dark brown cap-toed oxford shoes and a pair of overshoes (also known as galosh) over the shoes.
Today it was raining cats and dogs in Dhaka and I needed something to protect my shoes.
It rained almost the whole of last night and many Dhaka streets were waterlogged this morning.
Today I am wearing a medium gray 2-button notch-lapel suit, a blue/peach striped cotton shirt, a peach silk tie, a red printed silk pocket square, a pair of black double monk shoes with an overshoe, and a vintage Favre Leuba Geneve Duomatic day/date watch in stainless steel.
An overshoes (also known as galosh) is a very useful to protect your shoes during the rainy days. Get one if you already don’t have one.
Thursday is back and today I am wearing a combination of sports jacket and trousers. Today’s sports jacket is a two-button notch-lapel check in brown and black, a pair of dark brown trousers, a silk knit tie in maroon and black, and a printed silk pocket square in red. Today I am also wearing a pair of dark brown monk-strap shoes. However, as I was leaving home for office it was raining cats and to protect my leather shoes from water, I used a pair of over-shoes. These are also known as galosh. These are great for protecting shoes from rain (and also snow). Today’s watch is a 1971 vintage Seiko manual winding version.
