Today I am wearing a gray 2-button notch-lapel full-canvas half-lined linen suit with patch pockets, a mini-check cotton shirt with white collar and barrel cuffs, a black silk-knit tie, a white linen pocket square, a pair of black Beatles boots, and a vintage Omega Seamaster Cosmic manual winding watch.
Today again is a Thursday and like other Thursday’s today I am wearing a blazer/trousers combination. The hunter green blazer is single-button, peaked lapel and with metal buttons. The trousers are brown and the shirt is also brown/white Bengal Stripe. The shirt has barrel cuff. The shoes are brown monk-straps. I am wearing a maroon silk tie with woven white paisley patterns. I am also wearing a maroon silk pocket square.
Though I normally do not wear lapel pins, as an exception I am wearing one today to celebrate the Olympic spirit. This pin is from the Atlanta Olympic of 1996. I visited Atlanta just before the Olympic and this was a souvenir.
Today’s watch is a 1965 vintage Tissot Visodate Seastar Seven manual winding with a golden bazel.
Today I am wearing a light ash-brown glen plaid double-breasted (2X6) suit; a light purple tabbed-collar shirt with French cuffs; a deep-purple silk tie; a purple printed silk pocket square; a pair of dark brown oxford whole-cut shoes; and a 1960s vintage Camy Sputnik manual winding watch in a brown leather strap.
Please note that the watch dial reads “Popular,” which is wrong. When I gave the dial to be repainted, the painter made an error and wrongly painted the dial as “Popular” instead of the correct “Sputnik.” “Popular” is another line of Camy watches and if you search this blog, you will find some “Popular” Camy models as well.
Today I am wearing a bluish-gray (or grayish-blue if you prefer) colored double-breasted (2X6) suit; a cream tabbed-collar shirt with French cuffs; a mustard colored printed silk tie; a white linen pocket square; a pair of burnished-calf oxford half-brogue shoes; and a 1970 vintage Favre Leuba Geneve Twin Power manual winding date watch in a gray Nato G10 Nylon Strap. These photographs were taken when visiting my haberdasher today.
