Today i am wearing a gray wool/MF blend Glen Plaid double-breasted suit, a light blue cotton shirt with French cuffs, a printed blue silk bow-tie, a printed silk pocket square, a pair of black double-monk strap shoes, and a vintage manual winding West End Watch Company Sowar Prima military watch in stainless steel.
Thursday is back and as other Thursdays I am wearing a combination today. The keystone of today’s ensemble is a double-breasted (4X2) cotton sports jacket paired with ecru colored trousers. Today’s shirt is a white/light gray/light green linen gingham with French cuffs and the colors of the check silk knit tie are maroon, black, and white. Today’s pocket square is a printed silk one with maroon, blue, and gray colors. I thought a pair of brown colored monk shoes would be appropriate for today.
Though the watch is a very simple manual winding vintage Tressa with a large white dial, still for some unknown reasons, I find today’s watch to be aesthetically very pleasing. It may be because of its simplicity.
Today I am wearing a light gray pinstripe, 2-button, notch-lapel suit; a blue graph check cotton shirt with French cuffs and tabbed collar; a purple/white/yellow striped silk tie; a printed silk pocket square in purple and white; a pair of tan oxford shoes; and a 1950 vintage Cyma manual winding watch with split second.
Today I am wearing a brown check, 2-button, notch-lapel suit; a purple striped shirt with french cuffs; a yellow silk tie; a brown/navy printed silk pocket square; a pair of dark brown slip-on shoes; and a vintage gold plated Rado Voyager automatic in a brown leather strap.
