Today I am wearing a blue/white cotton seersucker double-breasted (6X2) suit, a white cotton shirt with French cuffs and collar pins, a royal blue silk tie, a white linen pocket square, a pair of white bucks, and a vintage manual winding Omega Seamaster in a blue/red striped Nato nylon strap.
Today I am wearing a woolen navy double-breasted blazer (6X2) with white mother of pearl buttons, a pair of sky blue trousers, a white and pink striped cotton shirt with French cuffs, a pink and navy striped silk bow tie, a pink linen pocket square, and a pair of chestnut monk-strap shoes. No watch today.
Thursday is back and as other Thursdays I am wearing a combination today. The keystone of today’s ensemble is a double-breasted (4X2) cotton sports jacket paired with ecru colored trousers. Today’s shirt is a white/light gray/light green linen gingham with French cuffs and the colors of the check silk knit tie are maroon, black, and white. Today’s pocket square is a printed silk one with maroon, blue, and gray colors. I thought a pair of brown colored monk shoes would be appropriate for today.
Though the watch is a very simple manual winding vintage Tressa with a large white dial, still for some unknown reasons, I find today’s watch to be aesthetically very pleasing. It may be because of its simplicity.
